i trust you have contacted Ensival Moret for recommendations. ISO 68 seems to be a low viscosity oil to me for a centrifugal pump, but the manufacturer would be the final word. if the bearing has damage putting in higher visc oil won't do much good.…

the performance curve you have with 9-11/16" trims can be used to directly figure flow, head, and hp at a new speed using the affinity laws. the additive nature of the two stage is already taken care of in the performance curve. if you want to insta…

another avenue to consider is an AODD design with two diaphragms sandwiched together. a probe or leak detection device will pick up a leak in the primary diaphragm and the secondary will contain the product and not allow it to get to the air side -…

sounds like your concern is with starting up a new mechanical seal dry in a vertical pump? i can understand your concern if this is the case, and i expect the concern increases based on the length of the unsubmerged pump discharge column! time requi…

i believe you are trying to maintain a near constant system pressure at varying flows? one approach to consider for two pumps in series with varying flow requirements is to run the first pump at a single speed sized for your minimum system requireme…

Since your vertical height is over 32', you cannot "pull" water up the hill. Two options - either the mentioned pump at a point below the current water level (with built in worries about future development) or possibly a standard jet pump in your pu…

economic recovery '09

The current total lack of GOP support mirrors the '94 economic recovery plan, where not one Republican voted for it either - this '94 plan was responsible for the best US economy since WWII ended, without the deficit busting spending during the Reagan and W. Bush eras. So I fully expect this recovery plan to succeed also without GOP support.
